本作は、前作『Today Is Another Day』からわずか8カ月で届けられる新作。ヨシ・ワキ (b)、ジョン・デイヴィス (ds)とのトリオで全編ニューヨークでの新録音となっている。コンセプトは、3月に逝去したジャズ・サックスの偉人ウェイン・ショーターへ捧げられたトリビュート・アルバム。今作のために山中が書き下ろした新曲「Dolce Vita」と「To S.」で幕を開けた後は、「Yes or No」や「Beauty and the Beast」、「Footprints」などショーターのキャリアを網羅した楽曲の数々が披露されている。時折オルガンなども交えつつ、山中の手によって時に大胆に、時に繊細にアレンジ・プレイされた、全ジャズ・ファン必聴の内容。そしてアルバムの最後には、同じく3月に逝去した坂本龍一へ捧げた2曲も収録されている。限定盤のDVDには、CD収録曲のパフォーマンス・ビデオを収録予定。
