ベートーヴェン: 交響曲第3番「英雄」、序曲「コリオラン」 / クラウディオ・アバド (指揮)/ウィーン・フィルハーモニー管弦楽団
[アバド名盤1600 / アバド生誕80年記念] 現代を代表する巨匠指揮者、クラウディオ・アバドの生誕80年を記念して、1980年代の名演を中心にセレクトしたシリーズを発売。アバドがウィーン国立歌劇場音楽監督就任 (1986年)の前後にウィーン・フィルとライヴ収録したベートーヴェンの交響曲全曲シリーズ (1985～88年)からの1枚。この録音はアバドの意志により、1986年2月突然病のため世を去ったDGのアバド担当プロデューサー、ライナー・ブロックの想い出に捧げられました。1985年5、6月 ウィーン・ムジークフェラインザールでのライヴ録音。
