スクリャービン&スカルラッティ: ピアノ作品集 [MQA/UHQCD] / ユリウス・アザル (ピアノ)
1997年、ドイツ・フランクフルト近郊のタウヌス山脈の音楽一家の長男として生まれたピアニスト、ユリウス・アザル。幼い頃から独学でピアノと即興演奏を学び、後に、ハンス・アイスラー音楽院とクロンベルク・アカデミーに入学。メンデルスゾーン国際ピアノコンクールをはじめとする数々のコンクールでの受賞歴を持ち、現在ロンドンのウィグモアホール、ウィーン楽友協会、ハンブルクのライスハレ、東京のサントリーホールなどの一流コンサートホールに招かれる注目の若手ピアニスト。2023年にドイツ・グラモフォン (DG)との専属契約を結び、今作がアザルのDGデビュー・アルバム。神秘主義思想を表現したロシアの作曲家、スクリャービンと、555曲の鍵盤ソナタで知られるイタリアの作曲家、スカルラッティの作品を選曲している。2人の作曲家を過去、現在、未来の時空を旅する旅行者に見立て、スクリャービンのソナタの終楽章 (葬送行進曲)のQuasi nienteの部分をプログラムのオープニングとクロージングに位置するとともに、曲間をつなぐ自作の間奏曲 (TRANSITION)を2曲収録している。グリーン・カラー・レーベルコート。録音: 2023年4月、ベルリン ※本商品は金曜販売開始商品のため、商品のお届けは発売日当日以降になります。
