キリストの劇的な試練に心震える――バッハの不朽の傑作がもたらす深い感動。ガーディナー、ヨハネ受難曲でDGに帰還! オックスフォードのシェルドニアン・シアターで行われたロックダウン下での収録。1986年のアルヒーフへの録音、2003年のSDGレーベル録音に続く、ガーディナー3度目のヨハネ受難曲。バッハのエキスパートによる決定盤が登場。「マタイ受難曲」とともに、宗教曲の代表作として人気の「ヨハネ受難曲」は、新約聖書の「ヨハネによる福音書」のイエスの受難を元にしたオラトリオ風に構成した作品。1724年4月7日、バッハがライプツィヒのトーマス・カントルに着任して初めて迎える聖金曜日に初演された。「マタイ」に比べて合唱が多いため劇的で、演奏時間も短いため親しみやすい名曲。グリーン・カラー・レーベルコート。 ※本商品は金曜販売開始商品のため、商品のお届けは発売日当日以降になります。
