鬼才カシオーリとのベートーヴェン: ヴァイオリン・ソナタ全曲録音を完成させた庄司紗矢香が、2020年のベートーヴェン生誕250年を先取りし、遂にベートーヴェンの協奏曲を録音。様々なスタイルを探究し、多くの経験を積んだ庄司の現時点での集大成的な演奏を展開している。また、2006年に書いた庄司紗矢香オリジナルのカデンツァも聴きどころのひとつ。カップリングはこちらも人気曲のシベリウス。シンフォニックな響きの中で独奏が緊密に絡む傑作で、透明な冷たさの奥に秘められた燃えたぎるマグマのような熱い魂を聴かせる。毎年、数々の共演を重ね、深い音楽的信頼で結ばれたロシアを代表する巨匠、ユーリ・テミルカーノフとロシア最高のオーケストラ、サンクトペテルブルク・フィルとは2012年録音のプロコフィエフの協奏曲に続いて2度目の録音。来日記念盤。来日公演曲目収録。
