[サイトウ・キネン・オーケストラ名盤UHQCD] サイトウ・キネン・オーケストラ結成40周年・齋藤秀雄没後50年。小澤征爾の恩師である齋藤秀雄の没後10年を記念し、師の名前を冠したサイトウ・キネン・オーケストラ結成したのが1984年。その後、1992年に松本でサイトウ・キネン・フェスティバル松本が始まり、2015年には名称をセイジ・オザワ 松本フェスティバルに変更し、いまや世界中から毎年多くの音楽家が集まる音楽祭として定着した。サイトウ・キネン・オーケストラ初の録音となったブラームスの交響曲から、2018年のサントリーホール公演までの41タイトルを、UHQCDでリリース。グリーンカラー・レーベル・コート。 ■牧歌的な晴朗さと幸福な気分が満ち溢れ、流麗で伸びやかな曲想が淀みなく流れる、燻し銀のような第2番。限りない憧憬を秘めた美しい第3楽章が映画にも巧みに用いられた、男性的ともいえる雄渾な楽想が印象的な第3番。このブラームスの2曲の交響曲を、1991年に小澤征爾とサイトウ・キネン・オーケストラがヨーロッパにコンサート・ツアーを行った際に、オランダのナイメヘンで録音した一枚で、熱気を孕んだ演奏が展開される。 [演奏] サイトウ・キネン・オーケストラ、指揮: 小澤征爾 録音: 1991年9月 オランダ
