[Machine Translation] Drummer/vocalist/songwriter, who has been active as a member of Empire, a band led by Peter Banks (ex-Yes) in the 70's, and a talented studio/session musician since the 80's, has released his first solo album in '12. John Goodsal (g) & Percy Johns (fretless-b) of Brand X participate in all aspects of this album! The guitar trio plays technical jazz rock/fusion music reminiscent of Brand X in the 80s/90s. From "Good Sal Funk Railroad / Ballad of Percy Johns," which is filled with phrases and sounds unique to these two musicians, to "The Manifestations," a snarling heavy funk tune featuring vocals from the main character, this is exactly what fans have come to expect from the band. This album is a must have for Brand X fans, technical jazz/fusion and hard A.O.R. fans alike. Guests include Kenwood Dennard (drums), a drummer who also played on Brand X, Joe Berger (guitar), a jazz/fusion guitarist based on the East Coast, and Ryo Okumoto (key), currently of Spocks Beard.
