Itsuka no Kimi e - Zutto Soba ni Itehoshi

This is actually a very good movie, despite the lack of hype and none-too-original plot summary. Noboru (Saitou) is a new student in Hayase's (Kawai) photography class, and his apathy makes him the target of the teacher's annoyance. However, after a couple of awkward moments and a chance meeting with Noboru's twin, Ryuu, Hayase finds himself attracted to and interested in Noboru. I will admit that I am not a big fan of Saitou's acting and I picked up this movie only because Kawai was in it as well, but it has become possibly my favorite of all the boys love movies released within the past couple of years. Despite some spoiler-related incidents with Noboru, the characters feel natural and I can actually pick up this movie and watch it over and over again. Definitely a little jewel kind of swept under the rug. Worth the buy, in personal opinion. This review is based on the movie alone, not on packaging or extra materials included.
