This Jiro Sugita best-of CD gets 5 stars in my opinion simply because the remastering is the best I've heard yet for a Jiro Sugita Toshiba CD. This release has an almost restored richness to all the tracks and the music is more upfront in the speakers which makes listening to the CD very enjoyable. The selections offered here pretty much cover all his hit singles while he was with Toshiba EMI, including many tracks from his classic 1971 album FOR THE LOVE & YOU JIRO'S 1. If you are looking for a single disc Jiro Sugita compilation which covers his hits from the 70's and 80's, this is the one to buy!
