[WARD/Enja 名盤復刻シリーズ 第三弾] アッティラ・ゾラーがロン・カーター、ジョー・チェンバースを迎えた1979年作品!! 24bitリマスタリング 紙ジャケット仕様!! 父が高名なクラシックのヴァイオリニストだったハンガリー生まれのアッティラは、戦後の混乱の中オーストリアに亡命し、その後ドイツでジャズ・ギタリストとして活動を始めた苦労人。ドイツではブルーノートのアルバムで日本でもお馴染みのユタ・ヒップのバンドで活躍し、その後ニューヨークへ渡り、スタン・ゲッツやベニー・グッドマンのバンドで活動。ソニー・ロリンズの名作「ブリッジ」は、元々アッティラが参加する予定だったのだが、スケジュールの都合がつかなかったためキャンセルした。アメリカでのキャリアを重ね、教育者としてもパット・セメニーら数多くのギタリストを育成した。そんなアッティラが最も脂の乗っていたプレイを聴かせてくれていた70年代の名作が本作で、ロン・カーターとジョー・チェンバースという所謂"新主流派"のリズム隊と録音した隠れた名作!!
