The second of Jazztronik's remix albums fares better than the first in my humble opinion. It starts off strongly with 2 Banks of 4's version of 'Pathways', jumps up a couple of gears with a great version of 'Dentro De Min' From Phil Asher and the other 'Dentro' from Reel People (UK strong in the House!), and of course one half of MAW knocks it out of the park with his sublime version of Madrugada (mixed a couple of metaphors back there, please forgive me). My favourite track from en:Code is softened by 2000black, where I think I would have wanted it taking futher in the direction it was going with maybe a bass heavy samba workout? (maybe I should give that a go myself if I am so disappointed. A sentence including, money, mouth is, etc comes to mind). Anyway, DJ Mitsu ends the albumcompetently, but as with The remixes part 1, I felt this lot had a tough job remixing a remixer who does his own stuff so well.
