They were Onikichi of Okeya, Tsunagoro Kanto, Omasa, and Daigoro Hoin. After sharing a cup of sake, they form Jirocho's family. This is the memorable first film in the "Jirocho Sangokushi" series directed by Masahiro Makino, which is considered to be the best among the many Jirocho films.
