Description
[Machine Translation] A gorgeous comedy epic depicting the human drama of tragedy and joy at a long-established ryokan! --Hiiragi Moto Ryokan in front of Ueno Station and the keeper of the Mizunase Hotel are rivals, but also good friends. They start a purification campaign to expel malicious touts... The original story by Masuji Ibushi was directed by the master director Shiro Toyoda, and the cast includes such comedians as Hisaya Morishige, Junzaburo Ban, and Frankie Sakai. The series developed into the "Ekimae Series" of 24 films.
