青べか物語 / 邦画
[東宝DVD名作セレクション] ハマグリと小舟の町に色も欲も生まれっぱなしの人々が描く、珍談漫談のお色気風土記。――東京と千葉の境界を流れる江戸川の下流にある漁師の町「浦粕」にやって来た小説家。彼は芳爺さんから半ば強制的にべか船を買わされてしまった。青く塗られたその船は「青べか」と呼ばれ、馬鹿にされるが・・・。山本周五郎の原作を新藤兼人が脚本化。あまりにも人間的であり過ぎる浦粕の住民の姿を、川島雄三が軽妙なタッチで描き出した。
