[Machine Translation] Whose Star Is This? Young and talented actors, Toruko Miura and Kai Inowaki, the leading cast and crew of the Japanese film industry, come together to embrace and depict the journey of two souls with no place to go. --One day, Taichi returns home from work to find his father, his only living relative, hanged to death. His father had led a rough life. Taichi is suspected of killing his father in the small town, and is not only forced to quit his job, but also loses his place in life. On the day he left his father alone to make his bones, Taichi meets Tsukiko, a mentally handicapped girl who has escaped from an institution. Tsukiko has apparently tried to return to her birthplace, but has been taken back many times. The scars on her back suggest that she may have been treated badly at the facility. Taichi decides to take Tsukiko home to her parents, shaking off the facility staff who are chasing him. However, all he knows is that her birthplace is "where the sound of the sea can be heard. As if guided by the sound of birds, Tsukiko and Taichi begin their solitary journey together...

この星は誰のもの? 若手実力派俳優、三浦透子×井之脇海 日本映画界を代表するスタッフ・キャストが集結し抱きしめるように描き出す、寄る辺ない二つの魂の旅。――ある日、仕事から帰ったタイチは、唯一の肉親である父が首を吊って死んでいるのを見つける。荒んだ生活を送っていた父。タイチは、狭い街の中で父を殺したのではないかと疑われ、仕事を辞めさせられただけでなく、生き場所を失ってしまう。その父を、たったひとりで"骨"にした日、タイチは、施設から逃げ出してきた知的障害の少女・月子と出会う。月子は、どうやら生家に帰ろうとしては、何度も連れ戻されているらしい。背中の傷から、施設でひどい扱いを受けているのではないかと思われた。タイチは追ってくる施設の職員たちを振り切り、月子を彼女の親元まで送っていくことにした。しかし、分かっているのは彼女の生家が「海の音の聞こえる場所」ということだけ。鳥の声に導かれるように、月子とタイチ、ふたりぼっちの旅が始まる・・・。
