The main character, who is imprisoned for a crime he did not commit, is played by Tetsuji Tamayama, who also played a prisoner in the movie "Letter," Mayu Tsuruta as a reporter for a weekly magazine, Nao Omori as a suspicious local, and the cast includes Shunsuke Nakamura, Mayumi Sada, Fumiyo Kohinata, Yutaka Matsushige, and Ken Ishiguro. The film is directed by Toshiyuki Mizutani, who has directed many ensemble dramas such as Drama W "Shindo 0" and Hideo Yokoyama's "The Vanishing of Lupin," and written by Tetsuya Oishi, who wrote the screenplay for the films "DEATH NOTE: Death Note Part 1" and "DEATH NOTE: Death Note the Last name.
