わたしの人生は、炊きたてごはんみたいにあったかくて、塩引鮭よりもばかしょっぱい。人気急上昇中の山田愛奈主演! 「おんなのこきらい」の加藤綾佳監督が、「恋愛×家族×ごはん」への想いを元に作り上げた、甘くてしょっぱい、名産品満載で味わい豊かなごはん映画。――母親と離れて暮らす女子高生の千代里(山田愛奈)の元に、地元の新潟で小料理屋を切り盛りしている母親・麗子(高橋由美子)が突如失踪したと連絡が入る。地元に帰った千代里は残された料理人であるアサダ(和田聰宏)と母の代わりに一緒に働くことになる。母との確執によって閉ざされていた千代里の心は、アサダや店にやってくる客との交流から少しずつ開かれていく。同時にアサダの人柄と彼の作る料理に惹かれていくのは自然のことだった。しかし、そこに突然、母が帰ってきて――。
