Miyazawa Kenji no Shokutaku (TV Series) DVD Box

[Machine Translation] I want to share this "Happiness (Saitama)" with you, even if the rain and the wind defeat me. Ryohei Suzuki passionately plays the role of Kenji Miyazawa, a nationally known author, in his unknown days. This is a moving work that will inevitably move you to tears, and is presented along with the food and music that Kenji loved. --In 1921, a young man, Kenji Miyazawa (Ryohei Suzuki), ran away from his family home in Hanamaki to Tokyo. During this time, his heart is still occupied with his beloved younger sister, Toshi ( Anna Ishibashi ). One day, she receives a telegram from her parents hinting that Toshi is seriously ill. She hurriedly returns to her hometown, but Toshi does not seem to be in any serious condition. The telegram was sent by his father, Masajiro ( Mitsuru Hirata ), who wants Toshi to take over the family business, and his mother, Ichi ( Misuzu Jinno ), seems to be fine with it. Kenji returns home after a long absence and finds nothing to devote himself to, but when he serves croquettes to his family as a souvenir and they are delighted, he realizes that "sharing happiness" is his ideal way of life. Kenji takes a job as a teacher at a farm school and begins to pass on this ideal to his students. He is blessed with invaluable encounters with his music teacher Osamu Kato (Ikuzaburo Yamazaki) and his cousin Yasu (Mikako Ichikawa). On the other hand, Kenji does not yet know that Toshi's health, which seemed to be recovering, is gradually becoming serious...
