Description

[Machine Translation] Trumbo, the rare screenwriter who brought us "Roman Holiday". The true story of the man who won two Academy Awards under a false name, even though Hollywood hated him! The acclaimed actor Bryan Cranston, who won critical acclaim for his role in the TV series "Breaking Bad," portrays the unconventional and humorous life of Trumbo, who held firm to his beliefs. --After World War II, the red-hunt rages in the United States. The unreasonable repression extends to Hollywood, and Trumbo, a successful screenwriter, is imprisoned for refusing to testify before Congress. He is eventually released from prison and returns to his beloved family, but he is out of work because his career in Hollywood has already been cut short. However, after "Roman Holiday," for which he secretly entrusted a script to a friend, Trumbo wins an Academy Award for another film he wrote under an assumed name, and he is on the road to a strong comeback.
Special Feature / Bonus Track: interview with cast
