「今、幸せにしたい人は、誰ですか――。」沖縄の風と緑に包まれて"大切なもの"を見つける珠玉のラブストーリー。 大ヒット作『NANA』をはじめ、『ジーン・ワルツ』『黒執事』等話題作を次々と手がける大谷健太郎監督が、沖縄県・名護市を舞台に、4人の男女の切ない恋愛模様を描く『がじまる食堂の恋』。巧みな人間模様を切り取る演出で次々と大ヒット映画を世に送り出してきた大谷監督が、本作では原点の「恋愛映画」に立ち戻り、複雑にからみあう四角関係を洒落た会話劇で綴る、大人の恋物語を誕生させた! 本作が映画単独初主演となる波瑠を始め、小柳友、竹富聖花、桜田通など、日本映画の将来を嘱望される新進気鋭のキャストが集結。この映画を企画・製作したのは、地元の人々で結成された組織「名護まち活性計画有限責任事業組合」。――海と風と小さな嘘が、新しい恋を連れてきた。みずほ(波瑠)は、沖縄・名護のまちにある「がじまる食堂」のオーナー。先代おばあの残したレシピを受けつぎ、ひとりきりで食堂を切り盛りしている。そんなある日、見知らぬ旅行者・隼人(小柳友)が「がじまる食堂」に転がり込んできた。隼人の笑顔と強引さに押され、面倒をみるハメになるが、時同じくして元彼の翔太(桜田通)と5年ぶりに再会。動揺したみずほは、とっさに「新しい彼がいる」と嘘をつく。なりゆきで隼人と恋人同士のふりをするが、三人の前に謎の美女・莉子(竹富聖花)が現れ、翔太に急接近。微妙な四角関係に心揺らすみずほだが、実は、誰もが小さな嘘と秘密を抱えていた・・・。
