Description
DVD release of a film "Yokohama Monogatari" starring Kie Kitano. Plot: Nanami Matsuura, who lost her parents when she was a middle school student, works as a manager for an amateur band, but she has no savings and behind on her rent. Meanwhile, Yoshinori Tanabe, who has worked as a groundskeeper at a soccer field, retired the job aged 65. On the day of his retirement, his wife passes away and he lost both his wife and job at the same time. The two happen to meet and Nanami Matsuura begins to live in Yoshinori Tanabe's home. Without asking Yoshinori Tanabe, Nanami brings over lots of people, and all begin to live together...

横浜を舞台に、厳しい現実と向き合う若い『女性』と、妻と仕事を同時に失い人生に絶望した『男』が地域の人々の温もりに触れながら、人生をリベンジする再生物語。主演・北乃きい、奥田瑛二ほか豪華キャストが現代人の抱える様々な問題を熱演! ――両親を中学生で亡くし施設で育った松浦七海25歳(北乃きい)はアマチュアバンドのマネージャーをしている。貯金ゼロ、家賃も滞納し、食うものも困る貧乏生活の中、担当バンドのヴォーカルも逃げて行ってしまった。一方、サッカー場のグリーンキーパーを定年まで約40年間地道に勤め上げた田辺良典65歳(奥田瑛二)は迎えた定年退職の日、家に帰ると愛する妻が突然病気で亡くなってしまっていた・・・。妻と仕事を同時に失い、横浜の古い一軒家にたったひとり取り残されてしまった田辺は落胆し、この先どう生きていったらいいか自分を見失ってしまう。そんな二人がひょんなことから知り合い、七海が田辺の家に転がり込んで一緒に住み始める。七海は部屋が余っている事を良いことに田辺の相談もなく、5歳の息子を持つシングルマザーの葵29歳(佐伯めぐみ)、不動産会社に勤め人生初の挫折で落ち込んでいる麻子25歳(菜葉菜)、大阪生まれの無職の女の子実咲25歳(泉沙世子)を連れてきて、おじさん一人+女性4人+子供一人の奇妙な『シェアハウス』生活が始まる。果たして、それぞれがたどり着いた幸せとは・・・。
