LEGEND THE PRO-WRESTLINGとは1980年代、熱狂的なプロレス黄金期を築き上げた、藤波辰爾、長州力、初代タイガーマスクが2011年スタートさせたプロジェクト。本作品は2013年に開催された3大会(後楽園ホール、博多スターレーン、札幌テイセンホール)を収録。「名勝負数え歌」として2011年の後楽園ホールで16年ぶりに実現した「藤波辰爾vs長州力」が今回の福岡大会でいよいよファイナル。また、邪道・大仁田厚が初代タイガーマスクを度重なる挑発で追いつめる。後楽園大会では、永遠のライバル小林邦昭とタッグを結成し猛虎が邪道征伐に。また、福岡での「十字式四つ巴テキサス・ストラップデスマッチ」そして札幌でのシングル戦「虎の穴デスマッチ」にいたる両雄の激戦を収録。
