鬼塚、教壇にカムバック! 国会議員の謀略にあえぐ養護施設を救え!!鬼塚は、"国"にジャーマンを決められるか!? 2012年7月クールNo.1視聴率ドラマ!(関東地区平均)が早くもスペシャルドラマで登場! スペシャルな新キャラクターとして主人公・鬼塚英吉の元彼女(!?)役に女優の桐谷美鈴、「児童帰宅支援政策」を推進する国会議員・牧田次郎役に升毅、容姿端麗、学力優秀な転校生・和久井繭役に葉山奨之、繭と同じ養護施設で育ったアゲハ役に黒川芽以が出演! ――明修学苑に戻ってきた鬼塚英吉(AKIRA)は、久しぶりの出勤途中で、養護施設・スマイルダックを放火した犯人を捕まえる。その晩、英吉と親友の弾間龍二(城田優)は、警察に捕まりたくて万引きをしようとしている中学生・川原遼一(吉川史樹)と大垣郁子(大出菜々子)に遭遇。住まいはスマイルダックで「親のところに帰りたくない」と主張する二人を保護し、スマイルダックの職員を呼ぶことに。駆け付けた職員は、昔、英吉の彼女と噂されていた藤崎志乃美(桐谷美玲)だった。英吉らは、志乃美から"児童帰宅支援政策"のために、たいした調査も行われず子供たちが家に帰されていること、親の中には子供を虐待する者がいること、施設が焼失したため自宅で子供たちを引き取っていることを知らされる。
