Director Tarsem, the "visual magician" who stunned the world with the striking visual world of "The Cell," spent 26 years in planning and 4 years filming to complete this masterpiece, now revived in a stunning 4K digital remaster. Newly added scenes cut from the original theatrical release create an even more immersive experience. Filmed without relying on CG across more than 13 World Heritage sites and over 24 countries, the breathtaking "real" visuals create a kaleidoscopic world that captivates and leaves a lasting impression. Set in 1915. Roy, a stuntman who fell from a bridge during filming and lies severely injured in a hospital bed, has lost all hope. There he meets Alexandria, a 5-year-old girl hospitalized with a broken arm after falling from a tree. To have her steal medicine for his suicide, Roy begins telling her an improvised adventure story.
