"Magi: The Labyrinth of Magic" - Balbadd Kyosokyoku -

[Machine Translation] Dreams and magic on stage again! The second musical adaptation of the popular manga "Magi"! Magi" is a popular manga by Shinobu Otaka, serialized in Weekly Shonen Sunday, which has sold over 25 million copies in total. It is a magical adventure fantasy centered on the friendship between Aladdin and Ali Baba Sarutja, who travel around the world in search of "hidden treasures" in labyrinths (dungeons) that have suddenly appeared in various parts of the world. The musical "Magi" is based on the original "Magi" and the first production of the musical, "Magi," which depicts the story up to the Thieves' Fortress, was staged in Tokyo and Osaka in June 2022. The magnificent and beautiful suite of songs performed by the splendid cast, all of whom have established reputations for their singing voices, was well received, and this second production will present a wildly beautiful "madness" as a prequel. --Aladdin is a traveler who travels through the "labyrinth" (dungeon) in search of the ultimate treasure, the metal vessel of Djinn. He searches for Ali Baba Sar-ja, who was separated from him during the attack on the 7th labyrinth, Amon, and ends up in the Kingdom of Barbados, which is in chaos due to the maladministration of the king and the rise of the bandits "The Order of the Mist" led by Ali Baba. Their long-awaited reunion is short-lived. Morgiana is annoyed by Aladdin's rejection of her, as if he had changed. Ali Baba's forceful action leads Ali Baba to tell her of the days he spent with his old friend Qasim, who together led the Order of the Mist, and of his own origins as a prince of the Kingdom of Barbados. At the same time, Sinbad, king of the Kingdom of Sindria, who had visited the country to resume trade that had been suddenly cut off, realizes the intervention of the Empire behind the chaos and makes a new move. What is the reason for Ali Baba, the prince, to lead the bandits "The Mist Gang" together with Qasim to fight against his country?
