Description

[Machine Translation] In 1945, young Katsuo volunteered to join a suicide attack squadron. 1945年、若き勝雄は特攻攻撃隊に志願した。勝雄は既に将来の展望も死への恐れもなかったが、勝雄を弟のように可愛がる飛曹長の阿部と親交を育むうち、写真でしか知らぬ阿部の妹、静子への恋慕が芽生え始め、死へと急ぐ刹那的な感情を引き止めたのだった。いよいよ出撃命令が下されたある日、高熱を出してしまった勝雄の代わりに阿部が出撃する事になる。そして阿部が帰らぬまま終戦を迎えた。あれから70年。余命半年と宣告された勝雄は、罪滅ぼしにと阿部の菩提寺、若松寺へ向かう。そこで偶然、静子の娘、紀和に出逢い・・・。
