Listening to this CD reminded me of the beautiful artwork shown in the movie and still sends chillds up my spine. Kajiura has impacted me emotionally once again. She is truly amazing.

This soundtrack is quite chilling and emotional, and overall, one of Yuki Kajiura's best works. The vocals on this track by Marina Inuoe are haunting and linger in your head long after the song is finished. The combination of synthesizers and instruments is also nicely done. In some songs, the melding of synthesizers and instruments is quite jarring, but Yuki Kajiura fuses those two masterfully. Moonflower, Houseki, Sadness, and the main theme of Petite Cossette are among my favorite pieces in this CD, but all there are no ear-hurting songs. In my opinion, this is a great buy.
