アニメ業界で活躍することを夢見る3人の女性を描いたオムニバスストーリー。かつてそれぞれ"AKB48"グループに所属していた藤江れいな、前田亜美、高城亜樹の3人が主演を務め、グループ卒業後初めて共演した。主題歌・挿入歌を担当するのは元"SKE48"のシンガーソングライター・佐藤実絵子。介護と執筆の両立に葛藤する脚本家の琴葉、仕事と結婚の選択に悩むプロデューサーの芽紅、プロ意識が低いといわれてしまう声優の凛の3人が、それぞれが自身と向き合い成長していく姿を描き、やがて3人それぞれの思いが結実したアニメ「藍の翼・カーレッジ」が完成する。
