「レイジレーサー」の熱く激しい音楽がリミックス・バージョンでCDリリース ! 「レイジレーサー」はバンダイナムコエンターテインメントが1996年12月3日にPlayStation用に発売したレーシングゲーム。BGMはクオリティの高いクラブミュージックでもあり、ゲームミュージックファンはもちろんのこと、クラブミュージックリスナーまでも虜にする楽曲がラインナップされている。 本作は、そのBGMを2つのバージョンでリミックスした音源が収録された2枚組CD。 [disc1] は「Reactive Remixes」と称し、「レイジレーサーサウンド」を現在のクラブミュージック視点から大胆に再構築したリミックス音源を10トラック収録。リミキサーは、Sampling Masters MEGA / Sampling Masters AYA / sanodg / J99 / Yuu Miyake / Taku Inoue [BNSI] / HIROSHI WATANABE / Ryu☆ / Takahiro Eguchi、そして「レイジレーサー」原曲クリエイターの一人、Hiroshi Okubo [BNSI] となっている。 [disc2] は「Remind Remixes」と称し、スーパースィープの細江慎治 / 佐宗綾子 / 江口孝宏による原曲の魅力に寄り添ったリミックス音源を20トラック収録。 ジャケットには、「リッジレーサー」シリーズのイメージキャラクター「永瀬麗子」の生みの親、由水桂氏による描きおろしイラストを掲載。また、ブックレットには「レイジレーサー」の開発者である大久保博氏と中西哲一氏、由水桂氏による制作エピソードなどが綴られている。
