A thrilling circuit delivered with 2026 "latest recording and mastering" as a [35th Anniversary Celebration Edition], covering the arcade version, the overseas Master System version, and the Game Gear version! Which one is the Winner!! ~ Also includes arranged versions by Takenobu Mitsuyoshi, Hiro, Koichi "Mickey" Namiki and others! ~ In October 1990, the racing game "GP Rider," themed on the 500cc motorcycle World Grand Prix, was released by Sega for arcades. Its simultaneous two-player mode featured head-to-head communication play, unfolding heated neck-and-neck races. To commemorate the 35th anniversary of that arcade version, Sega Music Co., Ltd. will release the celebration CD "GP Rider - 35th Anniv. Album -" on July 30, 2026 (Thu). The track list includes 14 tracks from the 1990 arcade version created by Takenobu Mitsuyoshi, Hiro, Yasuhiro Takagi and other creators who have long supported the Sega sound; 6 tracks from the overseas Master System port released in 1993 (never released in Japan); and 10 tracks from the Game Gear port released in 1994, each newly recorded from the actual hardware. This is the first time the sound sources from the overseas Master System port and the Game Gear port have been commercialized. In addition, the album includes 4 arranged-version tracks created specifically for it, for a total of 34 tracks. The highlight of the album is the Special Bonus Track, in which three groups of creators each arranged three popular arcade-version songs with their own approach. - The automatic-transmission track "Time Attack Vo Arr Ver. -Ride the Game!-" by Takenobu Mitsuyoshi, his memorable debut work (original lyrics: Akane Kimura / translated lyrics: Akari Kaita / vocals: Takenobu Mitsuyoshi and Akane Kimura). - The manual-transmission track "Be Over -Hiro Arr Ver.-" by Hiro. - The communication-battle track "The Perfect Power -Mickey Arr Ver.-" arranged by Koichi "Mickey" Namiki, formerly of S.S.T.BAND / B-univ. The booklet also features comments from Takenobu Mitsuyoshi, Hiro, Yasuhiro Takagi, and Koichi "Mickey" Namiki. ~ Relive the thrilling circuit through music, delivered with 2026 "latest recording and mastering" supervised by Hiro! ~ *Some tracks contain noise specific to the game hardware and the original sound program.

2026年版"最新レコーディング&マスタリング"にて贈る【35周年祝賀盤】アーケード版/海外マスターシステム版/ゲームギア版を網羅した、熱狂サーキット! 勝者Winnerはどっちだ!! ～光吉猛修・Hiro師匠・並木"Mickey"晃一らによるArr Ver.も収録!～ 1990年10月、500ccバイクのワールドグランプリを題材にしたレースゲーム『GPライダー』が、セガよりアーケードで登場した。二人同時プレイでは通信対戦を実装し、白熱のデッドヒートが繰り広げられた。株式会社セガ・ミュージックは、そのアーケード版の35周年を記念し、祝賀盤となるCD『GP Rider - 35th Anniv. Album -』を2026年7月30日 (木)に発売する。収録曲は、セガサウンドを長年支えてきたクリエイター光吉猛修、Hiro師匠、高木保浩らが手掛けた1990年稼働のアーケード版より14トラック。1993年発売の海外マスターシステム移植版 (日本未発売)より6トラック。1994年発売のゲームギア移植版より10トラック。それぞれ実機から新規録音を行い収録している。なお、海外マスターシステム移植版およびゲームギア移植版の音源が商品化されるのは今回が初となる。さらに、本アルバムのために制作されたアレンジバージョン4トラックを含む、全34トラックを収録。そして、本アルバムのハイライトとなるのは、アーケード版の人気3楽曲を、3組のクリエイターがそれぞれのアプローチでアレンジしたSpecial Bonus Track。●光吉猛修による記念すべきデビュー作にして、オートマチック曲「Time Attack Vo Arr Ver. -Ride the Game!-」(原作詞: きむらあかね / 訳詩: 海田明里 / 歌唱: 光吉猛修&きむらあかね)。●Hiro師匠による、マニュアル曲「Be Over -Hiro Arr Ver.-」。●元S.S.T.BAND/B-univの並木"Mickey"晃一アレンジによる、通信対戦曲「The Perfect Power -Mickey Arr Ver.-」なお、ブックレットには光吉猛修、Hiro師匠、高木保浩、並木"Mickey"晃一のコメントも掲載。～Hiro師匠 監修による2026年版"最新レコーディング&マスタリング"にて贈る≪熱狂サーキット!≫を、音楽を通して追体験!～ ※ゲーム実機及びオリジナルのサウンドプログラム等に起因する特有のノイズが含まれているトラックがございます。
