Herbert von Karajan, the great conductor of the 20th century, reigned supreme in the classical music world with his outstanding musicianship and charisma. This work is released from the "Karajan's Legacy" series, which Karajan worked on energetically during the last years of his life in the 1980s. This Blu-ray Disc version is based on up-conversion from the original master on LD using Sony's new technology. In addition to the original sound sources (linear PCM/STEREO), two types of remastered sound sources by b-sharp ([Linear PCM/STEREO] and [DTS HD Master Audio/5.0 Surround]) are included.
