Sadly, this CD left me very dissapointed. Whilst aware of the artists unusual approach to 'music', I had forgotten just how grating it could be. Her later efforts, I find to be more accessible it has to be said. In closing this brief review... Listening prior to a purchase, has to be the way to go.

2018年の生誕85周年へ向けて、芸術家ヨーコ・オノの再評価を目指すプロジェクトの一環として、ジョン・レノン&ヨーコ・オノ名義の3タイトルを含む、ヨーコ・オノの1968年から1985年にリリースしたスタジオ・アルバム全11作品を2016年～2017年に渡って再発。ジョンとヨーコの息子ショーン・レノンが大きく関わっており、ジョン・レノンとも仕事をしたマスタリング・エンジニア、グレッグ・カルビがオリジナル・テープからリマスターを行なう。パッケージはオリジナルのパッケージ・デザインを再現しつつ、未発表写真なども収録する予定。今作は1970年作品のヨーコ・オノ名義での初ソロ・アルバム。ジョン・レノンの『ジョンの魂』を対を成すアルバムでプロデュースはジョン&ヨーコ、フィル・スぺクター。リンゴ・スター、クラウス・フォアマン、オーネット・コールマンが参加。サウンド的にも演奏的にも『ジョンの魂』と同じテイストを感じることができる。 "Open Your Box""Something More Abstract""The South Wind""Why(Extended Version)"と4曲のボーナス・トラックが収録される。■解説歌詞対訳付 / リマスタリング / 1970年作品
