Laura's Debut Album was recorded in 1966 and released on Verve Records in early 1967, Back then it was titled "More than A New Discovery". The Album contained some of Laura's best known work especially rare for a Debut Album. Stand out tracks are: Wedding Bell Blues, Stoney End, And When I Die and Goodbye Joe. The Sound Quality on this Version is the best it will ever get, Rev-ola Records in here in the U.K released this Album under the original title in 2008 and even though they did a very good job the distortion which featured on the Original Master was still very apparent. This Version Re-Mastered in DSD Mastering Format from 2007 happily removes a lot more distortion than any other previous Re-Master has but some still remains and always will, It's just the way it is.
