Lost Not Forgotten Archives: Live In Tokyo 2010 [Blu-spec CD2] [Limited Release]

"Lost Not Forgotten Archives" is a series of official bootleg releases that has been releasing archival recordings such as live performances, demos, and studio outtakes since 2021. The first release in 2.5 years, the 22nd installment in the series contains live audio from SUMMER SONIC 2010, which was the final performance before Mike Portnoy left the band (he left one month later and returned in October 2023). This show was the final day of the tour for the album "Black Clouds & Silver Linings" released the previous year, and out of a total of 6 songs (7 including the medley), 4 songs are performed from that then-latest album. Because the audio was recorded for a later TV broadcast, it is a high-quality live recording that conveys the band's incredible performance and the audience's excitement with a strong sense of presence. The cover artwork, designed with the timing in mind of being released the week after the Japan tour held in February 2026 ends and of welcoming Japan's cherry blossom season, could be called the most beautiful kaleidoscope design in the series' history. ライヴ、デモ、スタジオ・アウトテイクなどの秘蔵音源を公式ブートレグとして2021年よりリリースしている "Lost Not Forgotten Archives" (=忘るまじ喪失音源集)。2年半振りのリリースとなるシリーズ第22弾は、マイク・ポートノイのバンド脱退前最後のパフォーマンスとなったサマーソニック2010のライヴ音源を収録 (この1か月後にマイクは脱退～23年10月に復帰)。この公演は前年発表のアルバム『ブラック・クラウズ・アンド・シルヴァー・ライニングズ』のツアー最終日で、全6曲 (メドレー入れて7曲)中4曲がその最新作から披露されている。後日のTV放送用として収録された音源であることから、バンドの凄まじい演奏力とオーディエンスの熱気が臨場感たっぷりに伝わってくる高音質ライヴとなっている。2026年2月に開催されるジャパン・ツアー終了翌週の発売かつ日本の桜の季節を迎えるタイミングを意識したジャケットは、シリーズ史上最も美しい万華鏡デザインと言えるだろう。日本盤は高品質Blu-spec CD2仕様。
