ロック・レジェンド、ロイ・オービソンの生誕75周年を記念して、彼が1959年から1965年まで在籍したモニュメント時代のシングルA、B面を2CDに纏めたコレクションをリリース! この時代は「おお、プリティ・ウーマン」「オンリー・ザ・ロンリー」などヒット曲を量産し、全米で9曲、全英で10曲をトップ10にチャートイン、20曲以上のヒットを放った彼の全盛期。今回のリリースではファンには嬉しい全曲がオリジナル・モノ・ミックス音源となる。DVDは65年にオランダで行なわれたコンボ・ライヴを収めたもので、今回が初DVD化となる貴重な映像。また。日本のみでシングル・カットされ大ヒットとなった人気曲の「カム・バック・トゥ・ミー」とそのカップリングだった「レインドロップ」を日本盤のみのボーナス・トラックとして収録予定。エルヴィスやジョニー・キャッシュとともに後のロック・シーンに多大な影響を与えたロイ・オービソンの真骨頂が味わえる内容になっている。デジパック仕様。
