If you would compile a "best of" cd from all the beautiful work of DJ Krush, there would be a fantastic cd! But.. it would be a fantastic cd of tracks which most of his fans probably allready owned. That's why he remixed all the tracks, taking risks, reworking all his classics. In a way the album listens just like an entirely new Krush album to me, which it is ofcourse, exept that we already knew the original tracks. Listening to the new tracks I can hear Krush continuing to experiment in electronic music, from his hiphop roots. I really seem to hear some infuence from Def Jux in his production or maybe even autechre, resulting in more experimental beats. Still, the masterful funky, strong grooves are still the essence of his work. A real best of album, would be like "looking backwards" to all the great tracks he did. With this album, DJ Krush is looking forward, adding another strong album, with a unique perspective.

We expect remixes from Krush since january and now it's good to hear them. He did his job as usual. This album begin strong with C.L. Smooth. He give to us a furious remix of Song for John Walker feat. Anticon (Pedestrian, Dose, Why?, Passage, Sole, Alias). A good remix of Danger of Love so "Gray-sky". And at the end, two new tracks feat. Kan. Complete tracklisting in English and Japanese and the reverse could use as a poster. Get it right now! What are you waitin' for, mate?
