名手3人がベートーヴェンの交響曲の世界に挑む! 第2弾は「田園」。 ヨーヨー・マ (チェロ)、エマニュエル・アックス (ピアノ)、レオニダス・カヴァコス (ヴァイオリン)の顔合わせによるベートーヴェン・ピアノ・トリオ企画第2弾。名匠3人が初めてトリオとして演奏したのは、2014年タングルウッド音楽祭でブラームスのピアノ三重奏を演奏したときに遡る。意気投合した3人はほどなく『ブラームス: ピアノ三重奏曲』(2017)を録音している。再び2021年タングルウッド音楽祭で共演した3人は、ベートーヴェン「交響曲第2番」をトリオ演奏で披露。それがきっかけとなり、ベートーヴェンのシンフォニーの世界をピアノ三重奏で演奏するシリーズ第1弾『ベートーヴェン・フォー・スリー～交響曲第2番&第5番＜運命＞』が今年2022年3月にリリースされた。本作はそれに続く第2弾。20世紀に名匠アイザック・スターンとの室内楽名盤を世に送り出したヨーヨー・マが、21世紀に新たな盟友と放つ、かつてない斬新なベートーヴェンの世界がここにある。2022年5月タングルウッド、セイジ・オザワ・ホールでの録音。 ※本商品は金曜販売開始商品のため、商品のお届けは発売日当日以降になります。
