現代音楽界の巨匠が遺したマスターピースを7タイトル一挙発売!! ミニマル・ミュージックの旗手としてクラシック界のみならず、ロック/ポップ/ジャズなど様々なジャンルでリスペクトされるコンポーザー/パフォーマー、フィリップ・グラス。今回、今年10月に行なわれるフィリップ・グラス・アンサンブルの来日公演に合わせて名盤をリイシュー。この作品は、1988年発表の2枚組。ルシンダ・チャイルズのダンス・カンパニーと画家ソル・ルウィットとのコラボレーションで、ミニマル・グラスの真髄を感じ取ることができる名盤。奇数番号のナンバーがアンサンブルによるもので、偶数番号はオルガン・ソロによるもの。特にグラス自身によるパイプオルガン・ソロの演奏「ダンス第4番」は必聴。
