Home Again: Live From Central Park. New York City. May 26. 1973

Carole King, one of America's greatest female singer-songwriters, performed a triumphant concert at The Great Lawn in New York City's Central Park on May 26, 1973, in front of an estimated 100,000 people. The DVD includes "Home Again," which was produced as a feature-length concert documentary film. It contains complete footage that Lou Adler shot on 16mm film with multiple cameras in 1973, but had never been released before. In addition to live concert footage, the DVD includes footage from her songwriting days, backstage on the day of the concert, and an interview with Carole King.

米国を代表する女性シンガー・ソングライター、キャロル・キングが1973年5月26日にニューヨークのセントラル・パーク内にあるザ・グレイト・ローンで推定10万人の観客の前で行い大成功を収めた凱旋コンサート。公演の後、50年間未発表のままになっていたもので、今回初お目見えとなる。ニューヨークのライヴ・パフォーマンスの状況を一変させ、セントラル・パークで伝説のパフォーマンスが行われる先駆けとなった。コンサートでは代表的な名曲と、間もなくリリースされることになっていた1973年のアルバム『ファンタジー』収録曲を披露。DVDは長編コンサート・ドキュメンタリー映画として制作された『ホーム・アゲイン』を収録。ルー・アドラーが1973年にマルチカメラにより16ミリフィルムで撮影したものの、これまで発表されていなかった映像が完全収録されている。コンサートのライヴ映像の他にソングライター時代の映像や当日のバックスステージの様子、キャロル・キングのインタビューなども収録されている。
