Blu-ray release of the film "Mom, Is That You?! (Konnichiwa, Okaasan)" directed by Yoji Yamada. Co-starring Sayuri Yoshinaga and Yo Oizumi. Plot: Akio Kanzaki (Yo Oizumi), who is a nervous wreck as a human resources manager at a large company, and is troubled at home by his divorce from his wife and his relationship with his daughter Mai (Mei Nagano), now a university student, visits his mother Fukue (Sayuri Yoshinaga) at her home in downtown Tokyo for the first time in a long while. However, there is something strange about his mother who welcomes him. Her mother, who used to wear a kappo-gi (Japanese cooking stove), is now living a vibrant life, dressed in a glamorous fashion. In addition, she even seems to be in love! Akio is perplexed because he does not feel at home in his parents' house after a long absence, but he gradually realizes what he has lost sight of as he encounters new residents of the downtown area, who are warm to him to the point of over-meddling, and a different "mother" than before.
