Tsuyoshi Yamamoto and Yoshihiko Kannari's reunion trilogy has captivated audiophiles around the world. The trilogy comprises "BLUES FOR K" (SCOL-1062), recorded at Kannari's private studio, "SWEET FOR K" (SCOL-1071), recorded at Onkio Haus, one of Japan's leading recording studios, and "REQUEST -Tsuyoshi Yamamoto Trio LIVE-" (SCOL-1075), a studio recording built from listener requests. In response to many requests, a 4th installment has now come together for the first time in a year and a half. This album's concept is "the piano sings." Beyond melodies everyone can hum along to, the skills of these two masters - Yamamoto's touch and Kannari's recording technique - come together as one. Featuring numbers by legendary singer-pianist Matt Dennis alongside other world-famous songs, and closing with the J-POP-born standard "Everything," this instrumental jazz album is completed to stay close to the heart at any moment.
