[Machine Translation] Vocalist CHIKO, who is active as a radio personality in her hometown of Toyama and is also well known for singing commercial songs, has released her long-awaited second album after 4 years since her last album "A Day in The Life". As the title suggests, the theme of this album is "Radio", and the songs she loves and wants to convey have been selected. Jimi Hendrix's "Voodoo Child", Stevie Wonder's "For Once In My Life", Carole King's "Onewas Johnny", and her father, percussionist B.B. Mofran from the Democratic Republic of Congo, also participated in the recording process ( 2nd and 3rd tracks ). Their roots African music "Mama Laya" is a collaboration between father and son, and is definitely worth listening to. The powerful and expressive vocals of CHIKO and the teamwork of the members, who are active in various fields from JAZZ to POPS, give the album a sense of unity.
