STEPPIN' OUT / KIRINJI
2021年より堀込高樹のソロ・プロジェクトとして活動中のKIRINJI。コロナ禍の印象が色濃く反映された前作『crepuscular』から約1年9ヶ月ぶりとなる、通算16枚目のオリジナル・アルバムが完成! 2022年6月に配信された「Rainy Runway」、ドラマ「かしましめし」主題歌の「nestling」に、新曲7曲を加えた全9曲入り。アルバム全体を通して、これまで以上にポジティブなワードが散りばめられた歌詞の世界観と生楽器を随所に取り入れたサウンドが印象的な1枚。2023年4月に設立した自身の新レーベル「syncokin」を代表するにふさわしい、歌詞/サウンドの両面で、新たな一歩を"Steppin' Out"した堀込高樹の意欲作となっている。先行配信シングルの「ほのめかし」では、世界で活躍する韓国の人気ロックバンドSE SO NEON (セソニョン)とのコラボが実現! 気配や空気のような言語によらないコミュニケーションをテーマとし、日本語と韓国語を織り交ぜた、夏にぴったりのチルなダンスナンバーに仕上がっている。
