本作はりんご娘の29th Single。かつて実在した弘前藩の忍者をモチーフに、歌詞には津軽の風景や津軽弁を取り入れるなど、地元愛の詰まった楽曲に仕上がっている。りんご娘の活動拠点である青森県弘前市は、弘前藩に仕えた甲賀流の流れをくむ忍者集団「早道之者 (はやみちのもの)」が江戸時代に暗躍し、今も忍者屋敷が現存するなど、城下町としての歴史を色濃く残している。音楽作家・多田慎也のサウンドプロデュースにより、ライブでも盛り上がるEDM (Electronic Dance Music)になっている。また、カップリングには「津軽じょんから節」をテーマにした「JONKARA」、デビュー曲「LOVE& SOLDIER」を現体制メンバーで再録したver.を収録。
