「サイギサイギ」は前作「Candy Apple～恋はあせらず～」以来約1年ぶりの、りんご娘 27枚目のシングル。五穀豊穣と家内安全の感謝と祈願をこめ、津軽富士とも呼ばれる岩木山に集団登拝する伝統行事「お山参詣」の登山囃子がモチーフになっている。「サイギサイギ」からはじまる唱文を音楽作家・多田慎也さんのサウンドプロデュースにより取り入れ、岩木山神社の協力を得て制作された。古くから続く「お山参詣」への敬意とさらなる発展を願い、りんご娘がアレンジされたメロディに乗せて歌唱することで、若い世代への伝承や交流、そして子供達が親しみをもって覚えてくれることを期待している。また、カップリングにはライブの人気曲「Ringo disco」「SNOW MONSTER」を現体制メンバーで再録したver.を収録。
