Mike Vescera, the extraordinary singer known as the "singing Marshall amp." Under the name MVP (Mike Vescera Project), his fifth overall album and first new album in 22 years is released. Mike Vescera's career has always been at the forefront of the HR / HM scene. After debuting with Obsession, he made a shocking entry into LOUDNESS and created the classic album "Soldier of Fortune." He later joined Yngwie Malmsteen's band and delivered overwhelming performances on two albums including "The Seventh Sign," leading even the Nippon Budokan concert to success. From 1997, he began his own project MVP, releasing four albums from the debut work "Windows" through 2004. After that, based at his own studio "The Toy Room," he has also demonstrated his skills as an engineer and producer. In addition, with "ANIMETAL USA," formed with Chris Impellitteri and others, he drew major attention with a project that turned Japanese anime songs into metal, and his powerful appearance at LOUD PARK 11 was especially impressive, with the 2012 tour in Tokyo, Nagoya, and Osaka also achieving great success. In recent years, while continuing energetic activities as both singer and engineer in projects such as "Disney Super Guitar" and "AniMazeX," in 2025 he realized his first Japan performances in 10 years through guest appearances with WARLORD and solo shows. There he connected with Japanese musicians including Jien Takahashi of MAJUSTICE / VIOLET ETERNAL, who served as backing members, and decided to produce a new MVP album with this lineup. The long-awaited new album features Mike's signature extraordinary vocals and a wide variety of songs that will astonish fans. This work also includes two famous anime song covers, and the Japan edition bonus track contains the classic song "Meant to Be" from his Yngwie era. A truly special album commemorating his solo Japan shows in Tokyo and Osaka to be held in March 2026 is now available. Includes lyrics with Japanese translation and liner notes.
