Description

A live-action film adaptation of the popular comic series "A Girl & Her Guard Dog" by Hatsuharu is coming to the screen, starring Riko Fukumoto and Jesse (SixTONES) in a double leading role. An original soundtrack is also being released. This is an unconventional, doting romantic comedy about a young lady from a yakuza family and her overprotective "guard dog" wakagashira (a young boss/underboss). The director is Keiichi Kobayashi, known for "Momoiro Sorawo" and "Koi wa Hikari." The screenplay is by Yosuke Masaike, known for "Haken Anime!" The music is composed by Mori Izumi, who is active across a wide range of fields including commercials, films, TV, and game music. From melancholic tracks to danceable tunes, cute and colorful pieces add vivid charm to the story.
