Steel is basically the unofficial bridge between Carcass' Necroticism and Heartwork - a more perfect blend of grindcore and melodic death. Wilding does Owen proud with extremely tight drumming, and the songwriting here is top notch. While I still prefer both albums to Steel (especially Heartwork, which is a masterpiece), this gets spins daily still.
