[Machine Translation] Benny, the older half-brother, visits his older brother, who has left his native New York to live in Argentina. Contrary to Benny's expectations, the older brother, who has changed his name to "Tetro," lives a life of secrecy about his family and past, and is unapproachable towards his younger brother. While staying at his brother's house, Benny wants to unravel his family roots and finds an autobiographical memoir written by his brother, an aspiring writer. The brothers fall out of favor when Tetro is furious with him for stealing and reading it. Tetro has a shocking "secret" about Benny's birth...
