米倉利紀の2年ぶりとなる通算16枚目のオリジナルアルバム!! 今作では長年の音楽製作パートナーである柿崎洋一郎氏が6曲のアレンジ、ツアーバンドメンバーのキーボーディストの佐藤真吾氏が3曲のアレンジ、同じくツアーバンドメンバーのベーシストの山田裕之氏が1曲のアレンジを担当。先行配信限定シングルとしてリリースされている4曲を含む全10曲を収録。今作は、ここ数年の米倉利紀サウンドの核になっていたスローものは極上に2曲に濃縮集約され、ミディアムからアップテンポの曲達で構成された米倉利紀の新境地とも言える作品。アルバムタイトル「sensitive sources」は喜怒哀楽の根源を紐解いた歌詞とメロディーを表現。
